Ocean City Intermediate School Hires Interim Principal

William Boyle, the interim director of Special Services for the district, has a per diem agreement through the remainder of 2011.

The Ocean City School District hired an interim principal for the Ocean City Intermediate School while it continues its search for a permanent replacement for Pamela Vaughan. William Boyle, an educator who came out of retirement to serve as interim director of Special Services for Ocean City schools, is now working as the Intermediate School principal. Boyle, a 61-year-old Ocean City resident, will make $350 per day. The Ocean City Board of Education approved his employment effective July 11 through Jan. 3, 2012.
