Police End Narcotics Investigation With Raid, Arrest

Raid took place on Thursday.

After a month long narcotics investigation, the Ocean City Police Department arrested Tameka M. McKeiver, 22, of Ocean City, after obtaining a search warrant and raiding a Bay Avenue residence on Thursday at noon, according to a press release issued on Sunday by Capt. Steven Ang. According to the report, during the search of the residence, the police found packaging material, more than one half of an ounce of cocaine, and the prescription pain killers oxycodone, diazepam and alprazolam. McKeiver is being charged with distribution in a school zone, distribution of cocaine, possession of prescription medication, possession of CDS paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child, the report said. Week in Review: Car Crashes Onto Beach, Former NBA Player Talks Drugs

A weekly recap of the past week's news.

This week we saw a car crash through a boardwalk railing, heard more from both sides of the BYOB debate and asked for your pick for favorite floral shop.
