Christie Reschedules Ocean City Stop for 2:30 p.m. Friday
The governor will continue a series of talks on protecting beaches with an Aug. 12 appearance in Ocean City.
Gov. Chris Christie will highlight what his administration calls "his continued commitment to and strong record of protecting the state’s renowned beaches and 130 miles of coastline" during an appearance in front of the Ocean City Music Pier at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12. Christie had been scheduled to speak on Tuesday, Aug. 9, but the event was cancelled by inclement weather. The Governor's Office announced the rescheduled stop on Thursday afternoon. The public is invited to listen to Christie speak, and he will follow his talk with a walk on the beach and Boardwalk, according to the Governor's Office.
