Flanders Donates Furniture to Rescue Mission
The donation helps Atlantic City Rescue Mission’s Project Restart.
In conjunction with recent renovations, Pete Voudousir President of the historic Flanders Hotel and condo association made a significant donation of used furniture to Bill Southrey, CEO of Atlantic City Rescue Mission, Friday, May 4. The donation was made in support of the Mission’s Project Restart Program. Project Restart is one of the many programs that the mission offers to help the area’s needy get back on their feet. The National Coalition for the Homeless estimated 1.34 million families with children will experience homelessness this year. The Mission is doing their part in aiding people through their recovery with Restorative Care Programs, Education and Job Training and Permanent housing placement. What many people don’t think …
