A weekly recap of the past week's news.
This week, we saw a new business open, posted some police reports, saw some fishing regulations and more. Here are some highlights from the past week's news. On Monday, we reported that the police are randomly checking seasonal properties, posted a police activity report, announced youth auditions for "Sweeney Todd" and we received a letter with suggestions for the downtown. On Tuesday, we announced an alert service provided by the Cape May County Sheriff's Office, we went sailing on the beach, saw a small fire on Central Avenue and saw that BYOB may be headed to the ballots on May 8. I dont feel its right nor patches place to divulge anyones names. Yes, we are innocnet until proven guilty, but in the good ol' USA....the majority assumes guilt. In my 12+ years here, I have known a handful of the "who's who" that have been "arrested" for various reasons, yet their names never seen to make the press....hmmmm how can that be??? more ›
