We have been there three times in the last year and each time was great! Brought friends and they too were impressed. Freshly made, large portions, not greasy, and vegetarian friendly. Families were welcome even with young children. Service was pleasant. Obviously a family business and they treat you as though you were in their home. Definitely will be back on next visit to OC in April.

Starters - Beef Quesadilla was nothing more than a Tacos shell with some beef inside and then covered with lettuce. Not very appetizing to look at and less enjoyable to eat.
Entry 1 - Beef Fajitas, my guest ate about a quarter of it and then passed. She thought it was not very good.
Entry 2 - Beef Burrito with refried black beans and rice on the side. I ate about a half of it and thought it was tasteless and besides being cold.
Beverage – Coca Cola was nice and cold
Service – English was the server’s second language and we had difficulty asking questions and getting answers.
Overall – a bad experience and we will not be going back
We have been there several times...food was awesome...everything is homemade FRESH! Right down to the taco shells...Roberto is a great guy and Ireni the waitress is great..guacamole is fresh and tasty..I eat by the bowl...prices are reasonable...I will recommend it to all who ask.me this summer....

The food at Cinco de Mayo is a level above the usual Mexican food. Everything is fresh, not greasy and quite delicious. The staff is friendly and make you feel at home. The restaurant is simple, but clean and attractive. They are also vegetarian friendly, which isn't always easy to find. We will certainly be back on our next visit.
