Temperature to Plummet by More Than 35 Degrees on Monday

Ocean City will see a low temperature of 11 degrees on Monday night.

A blustery and possibly rainy day on Monday with high temperatures in the upper 40s will turn frigid on Monday night — with lows around 11 degrees and wind-chill values at four below zero.

West winds on Monday night will be steady at 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. 

The same winds will continue on Tuesday with a high temperature of only 17 degrees and wind-chill values as low as 8 below. Tuesday night's low will be 11 degrees.

A slow thaw begins on Wednesday with highs in the upper 20s and Thursday with highs in the low 40s.

Ocean City got a brief respite from the cold on Saturday and Sunday after a winter storm brought snow and icy temperatures on Thursday and Friday.
