This summer’s third and final Open House at the Ocean City Fishing Club at 14th Street and the Boardwalk will take place 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22.
Club members are again encouraging anybody to visit and to bring non-perishable food, which will be donated to the Ocean City Ecumenical Council’s Community Food Cupboard.
The event will include guided tours to the end of the club’s 635-foot fishing pier.
Coinciding with Ocean City’s Family Night, the Open House is part of a year-long celebration of the fishing club’s 100th anniversary.
The oldest, continuously operating fishing club in the United States, OCFC is also hosting a three-day Centennial Surf Fishing Tournament for East Coast teams on October 17-19.
