Ocean City Morning Report: Beat the Rain, Help Flanders Celebrate

What you need to know about the day ahead in Ocean City.

Get your beach time, biking and running done in the morning on Tuesday — showers and thunderstorms are possible for the late afternoon, some with heavy rain involved.

The ocean temperature was flirting with 70 degrees on Monday evening (hovering at 69.6 at Steel Pier in nearby Atlantic City). The flat ocean made for easy swimming on Monday, but the July woes of local surfers continue. There doesn't appear to be any significant wave-generating weather events in the near future.

High tide is about 8:30 a.m. on the ocean side on Tuesday, and low tide about 2:30 p.m.
