Ocean City Beach Tags for Summer 2014 Now On Sale

Seasonal tags can be purchased online or in person at the discounted price of $20.

Beach tags for the summer 2014 season are on sale now online and at four locations in Ocean City. A $5 discount on seasonal tags is good through May 31. 

The 2014 beach tag design commemorates the 100th anniversary of Ocean City’s City Hall. 

The online store for beach tags can be accessed 24 hours a day at https://store.ocnj.us/.  Mail order forms are also available online and should be mailed before December 18 to guarantee Christmas delivery.

The 2014 preseason beach tags are available for $20 and are required for beachgoers ages 12 and up. On June 1, 2014, seasonal beach tags prices increase to $25.

Beach tags can also be purchased in person at the following locations:

Aquatic & Fitness Center, 1735 Simpson Avenue 
Monday thru Friday 9:00am to 9:00pm, 
Saturday and Sunday 9:00am to 6:00pm

Roy Gillian Welcome Center, Route 52 Causeway
Monday thru Saturday, 9:00am to 4:30pm.
Sunday 9:00am to 2:00pm

Henry S. Knight Building, 115 12th Street 
Monday-Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm

City Hall, 861 Asbury Avenue
Monday-Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm
(Please note the City Hall location has limited access
due to storm damage sustained to the first floor.)

Won't on-line buying permit shoobies to get their tags cheaper than is permitted for nonresidents? Isn't OC residency a requirement for getting the preseason rate? How will the lOCals meet the requirement to show ID verifying their residency if ordering on-line?

the price is based on the date you purchase them, not where you live.
