What about Yogo factory? That has to be the best addition to the boardwalk!

You left out OC to Shining Sea, a store that sells exclusively made-in-America merchandise (now that is a story you should write), and Heritage Surf & Sport, both in the 1300 block; the greatly expanded Sun & Fun in the 1200 block (took over Atlantic Books spot); and the aforementioned Yogo Factory.

Haunted golf looks interesting from the outside. I walked in to check the place out for appropriateness for my 4 children but was swiftly directed out and told I would have to pay admission to see it. Guess this local family won't be patronizing this establishment anytime soon. I guess they think this adds to its mystery?

Haunted golf is appropriate for anyone and everyone of all ages. Nothing comes out at you or is super scary, As the article mentions it gives a "Disney-like haunt"

Well I wanted to check it out because my friends kids got scared and were given vouchers. Seemed ridiculous that I wasn't able to take a quick look. Anyway, we have been very impressed with the staff at the Heritage shop and We still have one yogurt place left to try. The boardwalk is definitely moving in the right direction! Btw, what happened to the fry guy that he has body guards?
Cindy Nevitt July 16, 2012 at 03:20 AM
Jilly's Fry Guy has peeps watching his back b/c sometimes people think it's funny to ambush a guy in a costume.

Ok fry guy. I just wonder if his suit is air conditioned

This haunted golf is an unfortunate and horrible addition to "Americas greatest FAMILY resort" I am appalled and offended that this was permitted.

Zombie house is the second worst addition to the oc boardwalk. I find it offensive to young children walking by. It puts unnecessary fear in them and a visual that cannot be erased. Not to mention the illegal drug affiliation- using certain illegal substances puts people in a zombie like state. What message is oc putting out there by allowing this on the boardwalk? I hope this new attraction is not a permanent fixture.

when are the authorities going to finally crack down on the zombie run drug ring in ocean city? these people are corrupting our CHILDREN from beyond the grave, and i for one will not stand for it. it used to be zombies only wanted brains, but since they are obviously STARVING in this town they've resorted to pushing drugs. I'm with this poster above me, we need to take action immediately before we all end up as "zombies". also, are these zombies paying taxes on their drug sales? somebody needs to pay for these roads! -concerned citizen

I am also a concerned citizen. What lessons are we teaching our children by walking on the wrong side of the boardwalk? How about if you chose to ignore the "stay right rule" then you must also yield to those "in your way"? Let your senses be your guide... If you feel like your fighting the flow of traffic...... YOU PROBABLY ARE!!! Works on our roads. I suspect it will work on sidewalks and boardwalk.

A RIP OFF and A SCAM!!! They made us pay for members who where not going to play golf and on top of that only after we had paid did they inform us that we had to also pay for the 1 year old baby who had been asleep in her stroller. Over all I have never heard of a golfing place that makes customers pay for non-playing members or children under the age of 2 just for entering the playing fields. On top of it all they refused to give back the money because it was against store policy. Honestly never heard of such a policy and I've been going to Ocean City for over 30 years and I have taken my family to every minigolf place there and I have never had these issues before.

Sorry, but LOVED IT! Super well appointed and a fun little course; only prob with were the quarters are a bit crammed. People who want to play shouldn't bring in 20 people with (including baby strollers!). Get Gram and Pop to watch the kids and go have some fun (alone!)....

Good Lord, put the kids to bed.
