The Red Raiders won their first South Jersey title in school history last week.

After winning the first South Jersey title in the history of the program last week, the Ocean City High School girls swim team will compete for a state championship.

Brackets for the state tournament have not yet been released.

The Red Raiders captured the South Jersey Group B title on Wednesday with a 95-75 win over top-seeded Haddonfield, according to nj.com.

Ocean City entered the tournament as the No. 2 seed.

The South Jersey title added prestige to a season in which Ocean City won the Cape-Atlantic League championship in addition to the CAL National Conference title. The undefeated Red Raiders (13-0) handed Mainland its only two losses this season.

Ocean City will compete against Central Jersey Group B champion Princeton; North 1 Group B champion Mountain Lakes; and North 2 Group B champion Chatham.

Each of those three teams was the No. 1 seed in their respective group.
