Ocean City Girls Advance in Swimming Tournament

The Red Raiders defeat Oakcrest in the first round of the state Division B swimming tournament.

The Ocean City High School girls' swimming team defeated Oakcrest, 99-71, in the first round of the state girls' team swimming tournament for Division B (smaller schools).

The Red Raiders advance and will likely meet Haddonfield in the South Jersey semifinal. A win against Haddonfield could set up a potential rematch against Cape-Atlantic League rival Mainland Regional High School in a South Jersey final.

Ocean City and Mainland tied in a regular-season dual meet.
