Ocean City Schools Closed on Monday

Seven inches of snow have fallen in parts of Cape May County.

All Ocean City public schools will be closed on Monday as Cape May County was hit with the highest snowfall totals in the most recent storm.

The Ocean City High School, Intermediate School and Primary School were all closed on Monday due to inclement weather, according to messages on the school district's phone services.

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and all instructional sites will open at noon, with classes commencing at 12:45 p.m., according to the college's website.

The latest snowstorm hit Cape May County hardest, with seven inches of snow falling on Dias Creek, according to the National Weather Service. Dennisville and Cape May each saw six inches.

Snowfall totals weren't immediately available for Ocean City.

The speed limit has been reduced to 35 miles an hour on the Garden State Parkway between Route 109 in Cape May and Exit 80 in Beachwood, according to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority's website.
