Ocean City High School Alumni Weekend Set for Sept. 18-19
Proceeds from Red and White Weekend go toward a scholarship for an Ocean City High School student.
The Ocean City Alumni Association's annual Red and White Weekend takes place Sept. 18 and 19, the group announced on Wednesday.
The weekend begins Thursday night, Sept. 18, with a kickoff party at DiOrio's Circle Cafe in Somers Point, 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door.
The party continues on Friday night, Sept. 19 with a barbecue rally on the basketball courts at 6th and Boardwalk. The rally is from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and includes music, free facepainting, pompoms and other favors.
The rally precedes the homecoming football game against Vineland, 7 p.m. The evening continues at Deauville in Strathmere following the game.
All activities are open to alumni, family, friends, the community and future alumni.
All proceeds from the weekend will go toward a scholarship for an Ocean City High School student. This year’s recipient was Caroline Bowman, daughter of Ocean City High School alumni Jennifer Christ Bowman and Charlie Bowman.
