Four students from Millville Senior High School will receive the Congressional Award Gold Medal on June 19th, along with twelve other students from across New Jersey.
Nicholas Makos, Sara Penka, Kate Reed, and Andrew Stone, all of Millville, will be honored for their commitment to the community.
The Congressional Gold Medal is Congress' highest award for youth ages 14 to 23. The Medal recognizes individuals that have committed hundreds of hours to community involvement.
The award ceremonies next week will be hosted by CBS News' Nancy Cordes and Chip Reid. Kate Raftery of the Peace Corps will be the keynote speaker at the event.
Congratulations to all four students!
