Mayor Honors Joyce Trofa Upon Retirement
Trofa worked for the Ocean City School District for 41 years.
Mayor Jay Gillian honors Joyce Trofa, in front of her family, students and staff at the Ocean City Primary School on her retirement following 41 years of service to the Ocean City School System.
Mrs. Trofa also celebrated the completion of the new traffic light installed at the corner of 6th and West Avenue.
Mrs. Trofa is a long-time advocate for children’s safety as well as a volunteer for numerous organizations in the city, including First Night, After Prom and Police and Fire Department special events.
