Fundraising Ocean City-Style at the School's Fishing Flea Market

The Ocean City Intermediate School Fishing Flea Market drew a good crowd to the March 5 event.

When it comes to school fundraisers, most groups have bake sales, car washes or something of the sort. But in a town like Ocean City, they know that hearts (and wallets) lie with the nearby sea.

Ocean City Intermediate School teacher Nick Verducci helped organize the school's annual Fishing Flea Market, featuring all manner of new, used and collectible fishing tackle. The event was a success and raised money for a most worthy cause: the school's fishing club.
