Title: 10 Questions for …. Coach Frank

We would like the Ocean City Junior Raiders and their parents, as well as our community, get to know the other players and coaches a little more.  We will be running regular features introducing you to them in a quick hitting “ten questions” format.  Come back regularly for updates and get to know our organization.

 Today features Frank Rubba who lives in town with his wife Sue and children.

 1.  What level do you coach and why are you coaching?  I coach the taxi team (kindergarten through second grade) and I love being with the kids and seeing them bond as a team.

 2.  What do you like best about coaching?  I like being involved with football and teaching the kids the basics of the game.  That's what it’s all about.

 3.  Where are you from originally?  Originally, I’m from Egg Harbor Township.

 4.  One word that best describes you.  Motivated.

 5.  Your mentor or who you look up to.  My grandfather was my mentor.

 6.  Person, living or dead, you would be most interested in meeting.  Philadelphia Eagle new head coach Chip Kelly.

 7.  Favorite Ocean City restaurant.  Piccini.

 8.  Favorite sports team.  The Philadelphia Eagles.

 9.  Goal yet to be achieved.  How to surf!

 10.  Little known fact about you.  I’m a business owner in town.  I own Flooring by Design located at 1249 Asbury Avenue.
