Public Invited to Open Space Forum on Saturday

The Ocean City Environmental Commission seeks input on open space and recreation needs.

The Ocean City Environmental Commission is developing a plan that will guide future open space acquisition and usage in the city, and the group is looking for public input.

The Commission invites everybody to an informal presentation and public comment session with light refreshments 1 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 14) at the Howard S. Stainton Senior Center within the Ocean City Community Center at 18th Street and Simpson Avenue.

Gathered data will be used to compile an Open Space and Recreation Plan and to apply for grants.

Anybody who cannot attend on Dec. 14, can access the presentation and complete a survey:

  • By completing a hard copy of the survey available at the reception desk at City Hall, 861 Asbury Avenue, Monday through Friday 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
