Ocean City Asks Taxpayers to Pay Bills Online or by Mail

City Hall has limited access due to ongoing construction.

The next tax quarter due is Febr. 1, 2014.  Please be advised that postmarks are not accepted in accordance with the State of New Jersey tax laws, therefore the payment must be received by February 10, 2014.

Special Tax Collection Update:

Limited access to City Hall due to storm damage continues.

Please be advised the first floor of City Hall and the elevator are not accessible due to the construction project through Jan. 31, 2014.

The Asbury Avenue stairway to the 2nd floor entrance remains open. Tax payments may be made at the Henry S. Knight Building at 12th and Haven Avenue, Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We are asking taxpayers to consider paying their taxes on-line or through the mail.

Taxes can be paid on line by visiting the Tax Collection web page on the Ocean City web-site at www.ocnj.us/tax. If you are using the bill pay feature with your bank, please allow sufficient time, 7-10 days for your payment to reach us. The tax collection web site is sent directly to our bank account whereas using the bill pay feature of your own bank will require a check to be sent to this office.
