Mayor Gillian Schedules First Ward Meeting for Feb. 21

Jay Gillian is holding community meetings in each of Ocean City's four wards.

Mayor Jay Gillian announced on Tuesday that he will hold a community meeting in the First Ward at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the  (at 520 Bay Avenue).

The mayor will be joined by Councilman John Kemenosh, the First Ward's representative on City Council.

At the meeting, Gillian will share information about current and upcoming city projects, plans and other issues, including those of particular interest to the First Ward. The public is invited to attend and bring their questions about First Ward issues.

The event is part of a series of community meetings in each of the city's four wards. Gillian has already held meetings in the Third and Fourth wards. A meeting in the Second Ward has yet to be scheduled.

Ocean City's First Ward includes the north side of Fourth Street and all addresses from there to the Ocean City-Longport Bridge at the north end of the island.
