Letter From Mayor: Relief From the Freeze at the Community Center

Ocean City Mayor Jay Gillian touts the teen program "Fridays With Friends" in his weekly update.

Dear Friends:

This is a great time of the year to come in out of the cold and enjoy some of the many great programs and activities at the Ocean City Community Center.  Housing the Aquatic and Fitness Center, the Library, the Historical Museum, the Arts Center and the Stainton Senior Center, there’s something for everyone in the family!

Tonight from 7 pm to 10pm local teens are invited to the new “Friday with Friends” program throughout the Community Center.  Teens can listen to music, dance, enjoy refreshments, exercise, watch a movie, play video games,  swim in the pool or simply hang out.  Parents can be assured that their children will be in a safe and fun environment during this time. This is the second such event with future dates set for February 7th and 21st and March 7th and 21st.  A student ID from Ocean City or Upper Township must be shown for admittance.
