Bill Hughes to Speak to Ocean City Democrats Wednesday Night

The event at the library is open to the public.

Second Congressional District candidate Bill Hughes Jr. will speak to the Ocean City Democratic Club Wednesday night in an event open to the public.

The event will take place in the main lecture hall at the library beginning at 7 p.m.,  and the club is expected to publicly endorse Hughes at the event.

Hughes is one of two Democrats set to challenge Frank LoBiondo in this year’s Congressional election. Hughes’ father, Bill Hughes Sr., served in Congress 1974 to 1995. He lost his seat to LoBiondo, who has remained in the position ever since.
