Awarding Contract to Reconstruct Stretch of Boardwalk on Slate for Thursday's Council Meeting

Council meets Thursday night at City Hall.

Ocean City Council will award contract to reconstruct part of the Boardwalk at its July monthly meeting 7 p.m. Thursday at the City Hall Council Chambers.

The contract is for reconstruction of the boardwalk from 6th Street to Plaza Place.

Council will also vote for a request for a quote for the reconstruction of the 29th Street Firehouse-Station #2, and vote to award contract for the waterproofing and exterior painting of the Music Pier.

It will be council's first session since last Tuesday's Reorganization Meeting, in which Peter Madden was sworn in to his first term on council and Council President Anthony Wilson and Council Vice President Michael Allegretto were unanimously reappointed to their current positions.
