Tuesday Marks 5 Year Anniversary of Asbury Avenue Man's Disappearance

John Weisbecker went missing on March 11, 2009.

An Asbury Avenue man will have been missing for five years on Tuesday.

On March 11, 2009, John Weisbecker went missing, police said Sunday morning. He was last seen at 10:30 a.m. that day by a postal worker, and it is believed he went missing sometime before noon.

Um someone should probably check their math again... But in all seriousness, I hope his family gets the answers they're looking for.

Math? I don't get it.... I seriously cannot believe that this has not been a bigger deal. I remember when this happened....but my memory was that his mom was home and her son went out (to Wawa or something)....I think the story was that he just never returned. I don't ever recall reading about "a struggle or that he did not leave of his own free will." I also slightly recall that a cable guy was working in the alley (or visited their home that day) and saw the guy. Anyway, I am a little surprised that it's been this long and no leads or further attention was brought to this story.....is it just me? I would be screaming from the rooftops....relentless to find something, someone, somewhere......really scary!!!!
