Police Arrest Man on Heroin Charges

Rashin L. Holley, 23, of Atlantic City, faces charges after his car was stopped at Ninth Street and Wesley Avenue.

An Ocean City detective was watching an area on the 900 block of Wesley Avenue for suspected drug dealing when he stopped a car driven by a 23-year-old Atlantic City man.

Det. Anthony Fearnhead found 50 packets of what police suspect is heroin and a plastic bag of suspected marijuana, according to Ocean City Police Capt. Steven Ang.

Rashin L. Holley, 23, of Atlantic City was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, distribution of heroin and possession of marijuana, Ang said.

Holley was transported to the Cape May County Correctional Facility, where he is being held on $20,000 bail.
