I witnessed 3 police cars with lights chasing a car north on Bay ave and over the 9th street bridge on Friday night, January 4th around 8:45pm. 3 more police cars followed in pursuit straight across Bay on 9th street. I do not see any mention of this. On top of that, I would think this was a rather dangerous situation. I have been told that the legal number of cars in a police pursuit is 2.

The pursuit involved State Police and a speeding violation on the Garden State Parkway. The chase came in the 34th Street causeway from Exit 26, down Bay Avenue and back out the Ninth Street causeway. Person was arrested at his home in Somers Point. (We had a couple different tips about this one, but O.C. Police were not involved in the pursuit.)
