"By designating a particular issue each week it is our hope that the local press and community members will become more aware of all traffic laws and choose to participate by compliance, making Ocean City safer," Capt. Steven Ang said in a news release.

The campaign started on Monday, and for the rest of the week, it will focus on speeding with special attention to Bay Avenue between 24th and 34th streets.
