Ocean City Junior Firefighter Program Takes Place July 21-24

The camp runs from Monday-Thursday of next week.

Over 30 children will learn what it means to be a firefighter next week.

The Ocean City Junior Firefighter Program takes place from Monday-Thursday, July 21-24.

In the program, Ocean City firefighters teach children about being a firefighter, including aspects CPR, basic First Aid and introduce them to firefighters tools and skills of fire safety.

The program began in 2010, and is staffed entirely by Ocean City firefighters. The camp runs three hours a day for four days at Ocean City Fire Department headquarters on the 500 block of Asbury Avenue.
