Edward Harre, 22; Ocean City High Grad, Car Crash Victim

Edward Harre, a 2009 Ocean City High School graduate, was remembered for smile, his sports and his love of skimboarding.

Now his smile, and everything else about him, is gone.

Harre, 22, was identified this weekend as the victim in a fatal car accident on I-476 in Delaware Township, in the Radnor area, according to NBC40.

Harre was born in the Pomona section of Galloway but spent most of his life in Ocean City and Upper Township before moving to Broomall, Pa., according to the funeral home and legacy.com.

Harre was currently working as a greenskeeper for Merion Country Club in Ardmore, Pa.

The obituary said Harre "touched many lives and will be remembered for his vibrant smile. He loved and excelled at all sports especially golf, baseball and hockey.

While growing up in Ocean City, he loved the beach and skim boarding, according to the funeral home and legacy.com. He was an avid Phillies and music fan.

Surviving are his parents, Edward E. Harre and Debra Lesperance; and brother, Max; his beloved girlfriend, Emily Walmsley; also surviving are his paternal grandmother, Joan Harre; maternal grandmother, Christa White; uncle, Robert Harre and his wife, Leeanne; aunt, Sharon and her husband, Chuck, according to the funeral home and legacy.com.

Friends may call Thursday morning from 10:30 until 12 noon from the Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ with a time for family and friends to share memories at 12 O'clock.
