Ocean City Tabernacle Awards Scholarships

Ocean City Tabernacle awards seven scholarships.

Ocean City Tabernacle Board of Trustees announces seven college scholarships that were awarded to students employed by the Tabernacle and students pursuing a career in Christian service.  

Staff Scholarships were given to these two employees, both of whom have worked extensively with local students and children of tourists in Ocean City, through the Tabernacle’s summer programs of Vacation Bible School and off-season after-school program.  Brigid Shehan is at Cairn University studying Biblical Studies & HPE.   Sarah Skeels begins at Stockton College this fall, planning to major in Education.

The Dana Kull Scholarship for Vocational Christian Service is awarded to local student Jillian Huber at Moody Bible Institute majoring in Children’s Ministry & Bible. Another award went to Ocean City’s Alison Roberts, a Biblical Studies major at Messiah College.

Three additional Dana Kull awards were presented to Masters of Divinity students at Princeton Seminary: Michael Huffman, Aaron Neff, and Jennifer Pedzinski.

Midge Grunstra, local realtor with Goldcoast Sotheby’s, is a member of the Tabernacle’s Board of Trustees and Chair of the scholarship committee.
