Ocean City Exchange Club Donates Defibrillator to VFW Post

The gift is an expression of thanks for the service of veterans.

The Ocean City Exchange Club proudly presented a new AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Device to the Ocean City Ferguson-Foglio VFW Post 6650 on July 19.

The device will be housed in the meeting room of the building. These devices are used in the case of a sudden cardiac distress until paramedics can arrive.  Training will be offered on the AED to VFW members.

They will also be offered training in adult and child CPR.  The donation was in “thanks” to the VFW for their years of service in the U.S. Armed Forces, defending our country.
