Historical Museum's 50th Annual Luncheon

The Flanders Hotel opened with a gala dinner dance on July 28, 1923. Jack G. Jernee, the captain of the Ocean City Beach Patrol, attended the party, beginning a long association between the lifeguards and the hotel. Fred Miller, historian and author, will discuss this association at the Ocean City Historical Museum’s 50th annual luncheon. It will be held on Wednesday, September 18, at noon, in the historic Flanders Hotel. Stop by the Ocean City Historical Museum, 1735 Simpson Avenue, for more information or call 609-399-1801.
