My First Post on Faith

What do I know about blogging, and certainly what do I know of blogging about faith? I am feeling a little nervous! I saw the  request on Patch looking for individuals who might want to share about their faith. I believe the original question was something like, 'would you like to...' And, I thought,' yes, yes, I would' but after that I thought, 'how?'.
So, I am taking my chance and sharing my thoughts on my faith. I am a cradle Catholic, born and baptized into it. I have mostly been a practicing Catholic, going to church and ensuring I was somehow a little connected. 
I have lived a 'reasonable amount of time...;)...and been through many experiences, good and bad, like everyone else. 
But this year, found myself asking, 'Is this it? Is this all there is?' I wasn't sure what those questions were related to at first. And, then I realized this crazy, busy, distracting world seemed monotonous (work, grocery shopping, commitments of one kind or another - you know the drill). It all seemed, so, I don't know, routine. I knew something was missing. But, what? And, bigger and scarier, was, 'how do I find it if I don't know what the heck I am looking for?'
