I have to say I think they are all nice men. I think they mean well. But I am getting tired of career politicians who hang around in public office for decades. If you have held political office for a decade or two, and there are other people who are just as willing and able to fill that office, why not step aside? Especially in local nonpartisan elections there is something selfish and egotistical about hanging on to an office forever like you are the only one who can do the job.

No, you're wrong on that now. YEAR round people have left this town in droves. So there really are NOT that many qualified people around left to play politics. The ones that did care left! The ones that stay however should probably be representing more the property owners of their constituency...the ones that are mostly from out of town...who should be keeping very close tabs on what's going on here, even when they can't be here! Just some wild thoughts on the eve of what should be a no-brainer landslide. No need to take me seriously, of course.
