Ocean City Election Results Now Official
The Cape May County Board of Elections finished counting provisional ballots Thursday afternoon, and City Clerk Linda MacIntyre certified the results of Tuesday night's election Thursday afternoon.
The Cape May County Board of Elections tabulated provisional ballots and Ocean City Clerk Linda MacIntyre certified the results of Ocean City's non-partisan municipal elections on Thursday.
The final results are as follows:
Mayor:
Jay Gillian: 2,115 (60.31 percent)
Ed Price: 1,386 (39.52 percent)
Write-in: 6 (0.17 percent)
Total votes: 3,507
Council:
Keith Hartzell: 2,404 (26.35 percent)
Peter Madden: 2,206 (24.18 percent)
Michael Allegretto: 2,180 (23.89 percent)
Michael Hyson: 1,218 (13.35 percent)
Eric Sauder: 1,097 (12.02 percent)
Write-in: 19 (0.21 percent)
Total votes: 9,124
