Route 52 Causeway Back Open Around the Clock
Planned road closings for Thursday and Friday are no longer necessary.
Construction crews finished work ahead of schedule, so planned road closings on the Route 52 causeway scheduled for 1 to 6 a.m. Thursday and Friday (Jan. 26 and 27) are no longer necessary.
The causeway is now open to traffic 24 hours.

The road had been closed for the pre-dawn hours on Tuesday and Wednesday to allow crews to place beams on the new fixed-span bridge leaving Ocean City.
