The Halloween Parade Goes on Through All Kinds of Weather

The annual event started with no rain at all and ended in a downpour.

The Halloween Parade sponsored by the Ocean City-Upper Township Exchange Club drew a large crowd despite the forecast for rain. Children dressed in costumes lined the streets gathering candy and treats from passing parade entries.

Opening acts included the Ocean City High School Marching Band with the Dance Place performing to "Thriller," and the rest of the parade included a full range of community groups and organizations.

The rain arrived by the end of the parade, but most onlookers took shelter under awnings and umbrellas instead of leaving.
