Miss Ocean City Parade Shows Off 17 Contestants
The parade Wednesday on the Boardwalk introduced contestants for Saturday's pageant.
A parade through downtown Ocean City and along the Boardwalk on Wednesday night introduced 17 young women who will compete Saturday night for the title of .
More than $15,000 in scholarships will be awarded at Saturday's pageant, sponsored by the Ocean City Exchange Club.
Contestants must be between the ages of 16 and 22 and be current or former Ocean City High School students -- or have parents who own property in Ocean City or a sending district to Ocean City (including Sea Isle City and Upper Township) that qualifies as a legal residence.
