Lifeguards Place Wreath to Honor U.S. Navy War Dead

The Ocean City Beach Patrol's Memorial Day tradition has continued for more than 80 years.

The Ocean City Beach Patrol continued a tradition of more than eight decades on Memorial Day when it sent a lifeboat from the beach to place a wreath on the ocean to honor the U.S. Navy's war dead.
