Historical Images: 55th Street and Central Avenue

Our weekly feature includes photographs from the Ocean City Historical Museum collection and from the modern era.

This week's "Then and Now" features the building located on the northeast corner of 55th Street and Central Avenue that survived the infamous nor'easter that struck Ocean City from March 6 to 8 in 1962.

The building was then known as Allen's Top of the Wave.

The second image shows the building as it appears today and now known as the Top Of The Waves Condominium.
