Early Dismissal for Ocean City Students on Wednesday

The district will send students home before the worst of a coastal storm arrives.

The Ocean City School District announced an early dismissal for all public school students on Wednesday, Nov. 7, as a nor'easter moves up the coast.

In a 5 p.m. statement, the administration said: "Due to a coastal storm with heavy rain, high tides and strong winds that is forecasted for tomorrow afternoon, the Ocean City Office of Emergency Management has requested that schools have an early dismissal tomorrow Nov. 7."

Dismissal for Ocean City High School and Ocean City Intermediate School students will be at noon, and dismissal for Ocean City Primary School students will be at 12:30 p.m.
