City of Ocean City: Special Weather Statement
The Office of Emergency Management warns residents to move vehicles to high ground.

Preparations for the strong Nor'easter that will affect our region should be rushed to completion at this time.
Vehicles should be moved to higher ground for the next two high tide cycles which occur at 6:48 pm Friday and 7:12 am on Saturday. Moderate tidal flooding is expected. Flooding may occur prior to the time of high tide and last for several hours after the time of high tide.

Strong gusty winds, heavy rain and beach erosion are also expected.
There is also the potential for snow for our region as the storm pulls off to the Northeast. Temperatures of 35 to 40 degrees during the daylight hours are expected to quickly fall into the upper 20's . A very rapid freezing of roadway surfaces can be expected.
Unnecessary travel should be avoided. If you must drive during this period please exercise extreme caution.
