Aquatic Center Pool to Reopen on Friday
The facility had been closed for repairs after the Oct. 29 storm damaged the pump room.
The 25-meter pool at the Ocean City Aquatics and Fitness Center will reopen on Friday, Nov. 23.
The facility had been closed since the pool's pump room flooded with salt water during Superstorm Sandy on Oct. 29. Parts and equipment were replaced earlier this week, and the water will be ready for swimmers by Friday.
The pool will have a holiday schedule on Friday — with lanes open for both lap and recreational swimming between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
