Andrew Hink Gains a Bit of Wiki-Fame With 'Perfect Storm' Recap

An Ocean City man's article on the 20th anniversary of the 1991 'Perfect Storm' is on the main page of Wikipedia today.

Andrew Hink was just 3 when a massive North Atlantic low-pressure system merged with Hurricane Grace to create the "perfect storm" in 1991.

But the 23-year-old Ocean City man is the author of the featured article that will be seen by millions today on the main page of the on the online encyclopedia Wikipedia.

Hink's article is featured on the 20th anniversary of the storm made famous by Sebastian Junger's nonfiction book and a subsequent Hollywood movie. The storm left major flooding in Ocean City but did its worst damage in New England, where strong winds and heavy seas battered the coast for several days. The storm lasted from Oct. 28 to Nov. 4 but is also known as the Halloween Nor'easter.
