Admission Buttons for First Night On Sale Now

All-inclusive buttons good for admission to all First Night Ocean City events are on sale now for $15.

The annual nonalcoholic New Year's Eve event for families has become increasingly popular since its advent in the early 1990s, so residents and visitors are encouraged to buy their passes before they sell out.

The First Night Buttons are available:

• Online at firstnightocnj.com.
• At the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce at the corner of Ninth Street and Simpson Avenue.
• At the Wonderland kiosk at Stainton's Gallery of Shops on the 800 block of Asbury Avenue.

The holiday celebration features 60 different entertainment programs at various Ocean City locations from 4 p.m. until midnight—when a fireworks display caps off the evening's festivities (weather permitting).

The admission buttons include rides at Gillian's Wonderland Pier from 5 to 9 p.m. and miniature golf at Gillian’s Adventure Golf from 2 p.m. till 9 p.m.

There entertainment lineup includes: magic shows, musicals, comedy, Japanese drummers, a Mummer’s string band, Broadway music and much more. Complete programs are available online and in person at the above locations.

The Ocean City Restaurant Association will again offer its popular Taste of the Jersey Shore event at the Ocean City High School cafeteria. You can check the complete menu on the First Night website and book your reservations online at www.eatinocnj.com. Price is $20 for adults, $8 for children with hourly seating 4 to 8 p.m.
