The early forecast calls for some wintry weather in Ocean City this weekend, but the lineup of things to do is starting to heat up.

The fifth annual celebration of Valentine's Day includes three shows: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11; noon Sunday, Feb. 12; and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14. The concert will spans the ages — from poems by Robert Burns and Elizabeth Barrett Browning to love songs like My Funny Valentine and All You Need Is Love. Pianist Andrew Hink will accompany O.C. Rep singers Angelica Mathis, Rachel McGettigan, Amanda DeSouza, Kameron Ghanavati and Josh Wise. The Saturday and Tuesday shows include a post-concert chocolate tasting, and Sunday's show has an afternoon tea. Tickets are $10. The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company’s Professional Broadway Series returns to the for a night of Broadway's best love songs. The show starts at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, with a reception with a medley of sweets. Tickets are $15 (if purchased before 4:30 p.m. today) or $18. .

 

A unique fundraiser will be held at the For $30, participants can try a range of 18 types of fitness disciplines. The line-up will include some of the best- known instructors in Ocean City. .

 

The will hold its annual Children's Tea from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, for children ages 5 to 9. There will be demonstrations, craft-making, tea sandwiches and dessert. Children's Craft Workshops

 The  is offering a Winter Wondercrafts Workshop for children ages 6 to 11 from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 11. Instructor will be Kathy Hoffman. Cost is $10 plus $5 material fee per workshop. Pre-registration is required. Please call (609) 399-7628.  

 

A full night of dining, music and comedy is on tap for Friday, Feb. 10, at the  the event benefits the Charles Knox Memorial Scholarship Fund for local students. .
