“The entire team at NJ Realty is thrilled to join the Long & Foster family, which shares our approach to doing business with honesty, integrity and good old-fashioned customer service,” Fasy and Redmond said in a joint statement. “Long & Foster not only maintains the same commitment to family values and independence as we do, but also offers tremendous training, marketing and technology resources to ensure we’re well positioned to exceed our clients’ expectations when it comes to buying, selling or renting vacation homes in southern New Jersey.”

Fasy and Redmond co-own the Ocean City location, while Fasy is the sole owner in Sea Isle City. Redmond is the broker of record in Ocean City. They will retain their leadership positions while reporting directly to Terry Spahr, regional manager of Long & Foster’s Delaware, Eastern Shore and New Jersey region.

NJ Realty will retain its identity through the summer. They will adapt the Long & Foster brand name in the fall.

“Like Long & Foster, NJ Realty has a long history of success in real estate, and we’re pleased to welcome their team to our family,” Spahr said. “Together, we’ll build upon and expand the already high quality of support and services that we offer home buyers and sellers, as well as vacationers, in southern New Jersey.”

Redmond has owned properties throughout Ocean City for nearly 20 years, including 18 in which he has been involved in the development of real estate and has worked as a licensed real estate professional.

During his career, he’s been recognized by the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR), receiving their Circle of Excellence Sales Award every year since he obtained his real estate license in 2004.

Redmond earned his broker’s license in 2008 and became an Ocean City Real Estate Specialist in 2009.

He is also active in the Ocean City community and with the Ocean City Board of Realtors, currently serving on its board of directors as the immediate past-president.

The Ocean City Board of Realtors also named Redmond as Realtor of the Year in 2011.

Fasy graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He then he began his career in historic building preservation and restoration before entering the real estate industry in 1988.

He’s spent his entire real estate career in Sea Isle City, including 20 years at NJ Realty. Fasy manages the NJ Realty office’s team of nine real estate professionals, who work in both residential sales and vacation rentals. He owns in-depth knowledge of negotiations, and has earned honors as a top producer for many years.

“We’re pleased to welcome NJ Realty to Long & Foster and to expand our presence in the New Jersey market,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Long & Foster strives to serve as the No. 1 choice for home buyers, sellers and vacationers in Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, and the addition of the NJ Realty team further enhances the high quality of service we offer to clients along the Jersey shore. Together, we will ensure that our combined real estate forces continue to uphold the strong tradition that has allowed our company to grow and succeed.”

“The team at NJ Realty brings a wealth of knowledge in vacation and resort rentals that will further enhance the quality of service that Long & Foster already provides its clients, and with their knowledge of the shore, as well as our expert marketing, training and technology, we’re sure to achieve continued success in the region,” Joe Amatangelo, president of Long & Foster Real Estate’s Property Management and Vacation Rental Division, said.

With the addition of NJ Realty, Long & Foster now has more than a dozen offices in New Jersey. The company also serves as the exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate throughout the southern New Jersey market where NJ Realty is based.
