Goldcoast Sotheby's Cuts Ribbon on New 34th Street Office

The Ocean City real estate opens Jan. 6 at a new location.

Goldcoast Sotheby's International Realty cut a ceremonial ribbon Monday to mark the opening of its new 34th Street office — a little more than a year after Superstorm Sandy damaged the the Ocean City real estate agency's 18th Street location.

Goldcoast found a temporary home at the former Academy Real Estate on the 900 block of West Avenue while it purchased and renovated the new 34th Street office, which was most recently home to a Prudential Fox & Roach location.

Owner and broker Burt Wilkins thanked all the staff members, builders and business leaders who helped the office "get back to the business that we do."

He said Goldcoast has been growing in Ocean City since its founding in 1998. It has been associated with Sotheby's since 2008.
